So in order to be a man of my word I must tell you about the not so great review in the Baltimore newspaper. Of course I could offer excuses or blame the reviewer, whom by the way is not the food editor but a blogger who contributes from time to time, but there is no point to that. On to bigger and better things. We have 40 reservations for V-Day and a special menu. SPECIAL MENU
That will be the biggest challenge yet so stay tuned.

Carl, the review was not as bad as you think. While the reviewer was not full of praise from beginning to end, you were far from “trashed”. He hit on some positive notes along with the negative.

We were totally swamped and turned the table twice. several customers commented on the good review they read in the sun. Perhaps I was too sensitive.
This is my first restaurant and I want it to be perfect but that is very hard. All good restaurants were swamped last night so we did very well. Thanks for reading.
