Since I left for NYC a bottle of wine lasts Mary 3-4 days!
When I came to NYC Mary told me that a bottle of wine has lasted her 3-4 days. Well we all know Mary enjoys a fine glass of wine. But a whole bottle lasting her 3-4 days? I was skeptical. Not any more!
NYC has everything!

Who says Africa doesn’t have everything. It just depends on whether you know where to look. After long days traipsing in the bush county of Sub-Saharan Niger with our young friends Mary and I became quite adept at finding the things we really needed. Like ice cold bottles, yes the old fashion glass bottles of Coca Cola and Fanta Orange, made by the Coca Cola company. These ice cold, thirst quenching, artificially flavored, fully sugared, beverages are available at literally every roadside market. Even when homes,schools and public building have no electricity, the Coke and Fanta coolers run full steam ahead waiting for the handful of tourists and do-gooders who can afford the .75 cents for the liquid gold.
Even a fine wine can't beat an ice cold coke of orange fanta when the temp is 115.
